October 29, 2016 1RBC Gaming Weekly – Evolve is Over, Bethesda’s Press Controversy, Microsoft Goes VR

This was a pretty interesting week for game news- we’ve got fresh information about the Nintendo Switch, how Bethesda raised some controversy with their new policy for review copies of games, Microsoft’s upcoming foray into VR with low-cost headsets and the end of development for troubled monster hunting simulator Evolve. If you’re curious about the crowdfunding project featured on this week’s episode, the name of the game is Savior, and it’s currently in development for Mac and Windows. It’s a platformer set in a world in which the its characters become aware that they’re living in a video game- what makes this project special is that it’s the first video game to be coming out of Cuba.
